5 computer users are using various browsers under various operating systems for various purposes. The Macintosh user uses Netscape Navigator 3. Alan is exploring the depths and occasional beta bugs of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 beta 1. Dave uses Windows 98. Gerry got his browser from a friend but is not using it for checking a Hotmail account. Martin uses Unix. Thomas doesn’t use Windows NT. The Windows NT user wants the new of the new in the browser field. The Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 user is testing his first attempt to create his own page. The Windows 95 user dislikes the browser wars. The Netscape Navigator 4 was preinstalled on that users account. The Unix-user was not testing his first own page. The Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 beta 1 is being run, because the user is curious to test new features. The Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 user didn’t think much about which browser to choose as it simply was there, when he’d installed that CD-ROM from his Internet Service Provider - actually, it might have been there even before he installed that. The Opera user uses Windows 95. The guy who’s looking for new graphics tools got his browser from a friend. Thomas is just surfin’ around.
